Market at the Square returning to Urbana this weekend

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — Urbana’s Market at the Square returns this weekend for its 45th year.

The first day is this Saturday, May 4th. The market will run from 7 a.m. until noon every Saturday through October. It will be located at the corner of Illinois and Vine Streets.

Community Spotlight: Great Community Cake-Off in Urbana

The event has more than 150 vendors selling Illinois-grown produce, flowers, and farm products like meat, eggs, honey, and fresh baked goods. There will also be handmade arts and crafts as well as food trucks.

“This is going to be a great season for Urbana’s Market at the Square,” Coordinator Bryan Heaton said. “We’re looking forward to the Market’s 45th year of operation in Downtown Urbana.”
