The radio personality announced his exit from the daytime talk show earlier this morning.

Ryan Seacrest, out—Mark Consuelos, in.

That’s the gist of the switcheroo happening at Live With Kelly and Ryan, which Seacrest announced on air and social media on Monday, Feb. 16.

As the host and radio personality revealed his decision to depart the daytime talk show later this year, he revealed that his replacement would be none other than Kelly Ripa's husband.

Seacrest went on to congratulate the Riverdale actor, even granting him permission to remodel the dressing room once he's gone.

And now, Consuelos has finally chimed in with his thoughts, revealing that there are no hard feelings and wishing Seacrest—who has shared the stage with Ripa since 2017—all the best.

“Congrats on your next chapter @ryanseacrest,” he began, adding, “I love you like a brother.”

And since brother’s love to roast each other, he couldn’t let the chance go by without inserting a little humor: “I know I have some big shoes to fill … well actually they’re only a size 9, but you know what I mean.”

He then acknowledged his soon-to-be host and wife, stating, “@kellyripa my ride or die. This is going to be amazing!”

Ripa wasn’t spared from his cheeky comments either, as he continued: “I can’t believe after all these years of listening to you talk for free, I found a way to get paid for it. Is this a great country or what? ❤️”

Consuelos' Instagram post also included a shot of the trio from a Halloween episode where Ripa's husband was a guest star. He has also stepped in to host on several occasions.

For her part, Ripa joked on air that working alongside her husband of 27 years would be "the nation’s weirdest social experiment.”
