Before Halloween was even over, the 86th tree to be featured in Rockefeller Center for the Christmas season had already been picked out.

This year's tree, a Norway spruce from State College, Pennsylvania was cut down on Thursday, November 9. After being driven 239 miles from State College, the tree will arrived in New York on November 11, at which point it was topped with a Swarovski crystal star and decorated with 50,000 multi-colored LED lights, according to NBC New York.

Rockefeller Center shared a picture of the 75-foot-tall tree on Twitter.

The tree will be lit during the annual live broadcast, which takes place this year on Wednesday, November 29. NBC will broadcast the event live beginning at 8 p.m. Performers will include Hamilton's Leslie Odom Jr., Gwen Stefani, Brett Eldredge, Jennifer Nettles, Pentatonix, and the Radio City Rockettes. The event will also be streamed on NBC New York's website (but you will need a cable provider password to log on.)

The tree will remain on display until January 7, 2018.
