Calling all NYC-based baes: Hypebeast Flea New York is heading to a location very near you: Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. That’s right, after lighting up the London scene last September, the curated market is setting up shop in New York on May 18 and 19.

Hosting an array of exciting New York talent ranging from fashion to design, printed matter, art and food — you can expect a bustling showcase of creativity and the Big Apple’s finest streetwear brands.

Though the event is free to attend, you need to RSVP to secure your spot ASAP. Hit the link here to cop your tickets now. And keep reading to find out more about six amazing stalls you won’t want to miss. The countdown is on...

KimtheProduct

KimtheProduct is more than a beauty service. Kimberlee Cano is a mobile nail technician and press-on artist who specialises in Gel-x and 3D nail art. When discussing what inspires her, Cano (aka. KimtheProduct) references NYC’s endless possibilities: “As someone born and raised in uptown New York, what inspires me the most about it is the endless individuality of it all. Around every corner there’s a star! Anything can be special with the right cadence. Everyone is the main character and I love it. Millions of possibilities for millions of people.” For Hypebeast Flea she has some truly special press-on designs up her sleeve. “If you’re a lover of all things chunky, kawaii, & texture, you are going to be in love.”

“I’ll be bringing my favorite size-inclusive vintage and emerging designers [to Hypebeast Flea],” says Berriez founder Emma Zack. Born out Bat Mitzvah frustration (dismayed in Macy’s when she couldn’t find the right dress) and the joy she found when sourcing wares from her grandmother’s closet. The next step was obvious: creating a second-hand shopping experience with a size-inclusive approach. “We feature vintage clothing that’s lighthearted and fun, along with reworked vintage and exclusive items by emerging designers,” Zack explains. “The clothing collaborations feature designs that are typically unavailable to plus-sized people. With a focus on women, queer, and POC makers, we’re quickly building a community that feels more confident in what they wear.”

Calling all film photography buffs, this one is for you. photodom. is a Black-owned, full-service camera store which specializes in analog photography and film development. “We’re planning on showcasing limited runs of T-shirts and products specifically designed for Hypebeast Flea,” explains the brand. “Our cameras will also be for sale, and some film as well.” Expect an expertly curated lineup of models, from large and medium format, to point-and-shoot and rangefinder cameras.

Strawberry Western

Launched in 2022 by Kisa Shiga and Eli Libman, Strawberry Western is the opposite of the tired tropes that often spring to mind when you think of the “health & wellness” industry. This isn’t a space for neutrals and all-black sets. Instead, Shiga and Libman’s brand is a cute blend of Harajuku and kawaii, with youth culture at its core and sustainability at its heart. Think contrasting patterns, bold colors, ribbon bow details and a strong punk undertone. Just take a look at their “All-American Reject” collection here. If you are checking out their stall at Hypebeast Flea, expect to break a dance move or two, too.

Extra Vitamins

As psychedelic as they are playful, Extra Vitamins’s is serious about their craft - and they'll be doing a spot of live screen printing at Hypebeast Flea New York, too. Based out of Brooklyn, the artist-run clothing brand focuses on limited production runs that are sustainable and holistic in nature. The studio – which is also an experimental printshop and dyehouse – use recycled cotton pieces as canvases for their screen-prints and tie-dyed designs, all of which are done by hand. “We’ll have a good mix of graphic tees and dyes from our last few drops, plus some new pieces for summer,” tease the brand.

Crystal Guardian

The custom-fit silicone earplugs crafted by Crystal Guardian are making hearing health seriously cool. Whether you regularly attend concerts (or are in loud spaces, generally) the bespoke buds can reduce volume by 10, 15, 20 or 25 decibels on a flat scale to preserve music and sound fidelity. Though mainly made out of medical-grade colored or glittering silicone, their “Savory Silence” series feature some intriguing materials: dried culinary ingredients like anise and sesame seeds, and lavender and red pepper flakes.
