Her talents run in the family.

Mariska Hargitay is a woman of many talents.

The Law and Order: SVU star shared a video of herself on Instagram belting out Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou" with her assistant Halle Kaufax on the set of the NBC series. Broadway veteran Betty Buckley is seen sitting on the couch, enjoying the impromptu performance.

At the end of the video, someone off-camera can be heard praising their singing, exclaiming "Excellent!"

Hargitay captioned it, "Here’s a little #MondayMotivation. Do something you’re scared of today!"

She continued, "I sang one of my favorite songs in front of @blbuckley!!!! Took me about four months to get the nerve up luckily, I had the beautiful and talented @hkaufax by my side!"

She playfully capped off the caption with the hashtag "#MyGoalIsToSingThisWith @kellyclarkson."

Broadway star and You alum Kathryn Gallagher was equally as impressed with Hargitay's singing, commenting "BRAVA BRAVA BRAVA !!!!!!!!!!!"

Tony and Grammy winner Rachel Bay Jones was also impressed. She wrote, "I love this song and you, and you sound fabulous!"

Additionally, Irish singer Megan Walsh remarked, "Okay Miss Pipes!!! 🎤 Thinking back to your Inside The Actors Studio interview when you said you’d like to sing if you weren’t an actress," jokingly quipping, "I see a record deal in your future once SVU season 371 ends. "

Though it may be unexpected for some fans to hear Hargitay's amazing singing voice, the talent runs in the family. Her late mother Jayne Mansfield sang in many of her films, including Too Hot to Handle and The Sheriff of Fractured Jaw. Mansfield also sang live during her Las Vegas striptease revue "The House of Love."
