Mariska Hargitay and Family Are All Smiles in Photos From Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Mariska Hargitay enjoyed a night out with her whole family at an event in NYC.
The Hargitay-Hermann crew stepped out for the 2023 Stuttering Association For The Young (SAY) Benefit Gala at The Edison Ballroom on May 22, posing for a few captures on the red carpet of the function.
In the images, the family of five—inclusive of Hargitay's husband of 19 years, Peter Hermann, and the couple's three children: August, 16, Amaya, 12, and Andrew, 11—stood tightly-knit in a bunch as they flashed smiles for the camera.
The organization honored the pair as Hall of Fame Inductees for their philanthropic efforts during the ceremony, along with Wayne Brady and author John Hendrickson, who both received Hero Awards.
The nonprofit "empowers, educates, and supports young people who stutter and the world that surrounds them" by providing "advocacy and life-changing experiences" for those ages 3-18, according to its website.
To accept the honor, the longtime Law & Order: SVU actress perfectly embodied springtime, opting for a flowy pleated pastel green midi dress paired with iridescent heels. The Blue Bloods actor, for his part, looked suave in a dark suit, as he wore his shirt casually unbuttoned at the top.
Meanwhile, the duo's children were stylishly dressed as well. August wore a blue jacket over a black tee, while little brother Andrew similarly chose a gray tee worn under a navy blue blazer, trendily paired with sneakers. Amaya appeared the true princess of the group, rocking pastel colors like her mom in a pink floral dress with chunky Celine combat boots.
For the most part, Hargitay and Hermann's kids are kept out of the spotlight, but the actress did share some lovable family shots from their trip to Disney over the holidays.
