Both Mariska Hargitay and fans of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit have a major reason to celebrate, as it has been announced that former cast member Kelli Giddish will be returning as her character Amanda Rollins in the show's upcoming 25th season.

In honor of the big news, Hargitay and Giddish got their groove on in a new video shared on social media, with the former writing on Instagram, "Back with my lil boo thang." In the clip, Hargitay and Giddish pop their heads up from behind some tempered glass to the tune of "Lil Boo Thang" by Paul Russell before they start dancing and hugging each other.

The official NBC Instagram account commented, "this is everything to me rn," while fans went wild over Giddish and Hargitay's reunion.

"You truly don’t understand how HAPPY fans are with Kelli being back! We love her and Rollins so much!!!! Also love #rolivia and happy you are back with your #workwife," wrote one fan, as someone else pleaded with Hargitay, "Mariska PLEASE KEEP HER FOR THE WHOLE SEASON."

Actress Bailee Madison, who appeared on an episode of Law & Order: SVU back in 2010, shared her excitement as well, writing, "YAYYYYY."

The news even made one fan so happy that they couldn't sleep, commenting, "Why have I watched this on repeat instead of going to bed."

The video seemingly confirms the news after it was first reported that Giddish would be back for the show's season premiere, although it's unclear if she will appear in further episodes.

Previously, Giddish left the show in the middle of season 24 after having played her character Rollins since season 13, before returning for an appearance in the season finale. At the time of Giddish's departure, it was reported by Variety that the decision was not made by her.

Despite that, Giddish said, "Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life. I’ve been so fortunate to be a part of the ‘Law & Order’ family for the last 12 years...Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life. I’ve been so fortunate to be a part of the ‘Law & Order’ family for the last 12 years."

With any luck, Giddish will continue to reprise her role as Rollins on Law & Order: SVU.
