Mariska Hargitay Celebrates 19th Wedding Anniversary With Peter Hermann With Throwback Photo

After almost two decades of marriage, Mariska Hargitay is seemingly still as in love as ever!
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star took to Instagram to publicly mark her and Peter Hermann's 19th anniversary with a sweet moment from the couple's first dance at their wedding ceremony.
In the nostalgic throwback shot, which looked to be a digitized version of a physical photo, the two lovingly gazed into each other's eyes smiling, as they gathered close while holding hands for a dance. Hargitay donned a strapless silk wedding gown with her hair swooped back into a classy low bun adorned with light pink roses which complimented Hermann's rosy-hued necktie.
"19 years. Best dance of my life. Only dance of my life," the actress wrote in the caption of the August 28 upload, before giving credit to the photographer by adding, "Photo by @laraporzak."
In the comment section, fans gushed over the "lovebirds."
"One of the best couples there is," one insisted, while another said, "Oh I love you both the most."

The pair tied the knot in 2004 in Santa Barbara, California, after two years of dating, and continue to inspire folks with their love story all these years later. Happy 19th anniversary, Peter and Mariska!
