Kim Kardashian: Social media sensation, aspiring attorney, entrepreneur...and ghostbuster? Well, according to her recent Instagram post, it looks like our favorite reality star might be making close encounters with the paranormal. On Sunday, Kardashian posted what initially looked like a pretty standard mirror selfie: The SKKN by Kim founder was rocking a posh pout, no-makeup glow, and a (probably Skims) pink slip dress. But, if you take a closer look at Kardashian's signature neutral background, you'll see a mysterious shadow lurking behind her. And we're not the only ones who noticed.
"Soooo I took this pic last week when I was alone and now going through my phone I am freaking out noticing a woman in the window," Kardashian captioned the photo.
We're not paranormal experts—though this isn't the first time we've written about terrifying home happenings—but we think that the questionable figure looks extraterrestrial. While some of Kardashian's 362 million followers aren't so quick to freak out, many fans think Kardashian manufactured the shadow to highlight her natural beauty. Since Kardashian is never afraid to post a good selfie—we mean, she published an entire book of them—we think there might be something more to the story. Meanwhile, other fans are using this as a great opportunity to drop some classic Keeping Up With the Kardashians quotes.
"This is a case for the FBI," one commenter wrote, paying homage to an iconicKris Jenner-ism from the show. "Hi Kim, it’s only me, it’s Todd Kraines," another posted, referring to a hilarious prank the sister and Scott Disick pulled on their mother. A third commenter thinks Marilyn Monroe is haunting Kardashian after wearing one of her dresses to the Met Ball in 2022. A podcast called The Haunted Estate even offered to come and check out Kardashian's home on her behalf. Does that mean we'll see some paranormal activity on the next season of The Kardashians? Only time will tell...
