Season 3 of Netflix's hit thriller series, You is finally available for streaming, which means there's so much to unpack from new characters to major plot twists. After season 2's victim, Love Quinn, marries Joe and has a child with him, the couple moves to the suburbs of Madre Linda in Northern California where their neighbors are made up of mommy bloggers and tech entrepreneurs. Who is Marienne on You season 3?
Marienne is a librarian who has a dream of creating illustrations for children's books. She faces a tough custody battle for her daughter, Juliette, as she and her ex Ryan, an influential local news anchor, used to be drug addicts. Ryan uses this against Marienne in an attempt to win custody over Juliette, and Joe instantly becomes infatuated and protective over Marienne despite the fact that he's married.
Who plays Marienne?
Marienne is played by 25-year-old actress, Tati Gabrielle. You may recognize Tati as Prudence from Netflix's other hit series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, or even Zendaya's last Disney Channel project from 2015, KC Undercover.
How is she tied to the Quinn-Goldbergs?
Throughout season 3, Marienne develops a crush on Joe although he's married. Early on in the season, she tells her best friend and co-worker, Dante, that she finds Joe cute. As the season progresses, so does Joe and Marienne's relationship. Joe falls into the same patterns as seasons past and kills Ryan to stop him from winning custody over Marienne's daughter, Juliette. They even become romantically involved as Joe convinces Marienne that he and Love are separating for good, but that doesn't end well for anyone.
