Mariah Carey Shed All Her Layers in a Dazzling Silver Cutout Gown Last Night

The Queen of Winter Mariah Carey has officially shed her layers. The “All I Want for Christmas” hitmaker, who served up glamorous après ski ensembles just mere months ago that included luxe fur vests, fabulous knee-high boots, ultra-cozy earmuffs, the puffiest of puffer jackets, and really just the whole cold-weather nines, is reminding everyone she does bombshell dressing for all temperatures. She proved just that last night at the pre-Grammy Gala and Grammy Salute to Industry Icons.
Mariah stepped out in a floor-grazing, figure-hugging, spaghetti-strap gown completely covered in large reflective silver sequins that shimmered and shined as she walked about. That wasn’t all, the head-swiveling dress by CD Greene featured a plunging V-neckline and large triangular cutouts that extended from the middle of her bodice all the way to her back. Mariah paired the centerpiece with what we can assume are tall heels, although not a hint of them poked through, and lots of bling, including a sparkly diamond tennis bracelet and gorgeous diamond teardrop earrings. For glam, the singer looked beautiful in a sultry smokey eye, fluttery eyelashes, bronzey blush, and glossy pink lip with her hair styled in voluminous, bouncy curls and parted to the side.
Mariah heated up another pre-Grammy carpet on Thursday when she turned heads in caramel-colored couture from Schiaparelli. Her dress included a champagne corset bodysuit that featured panel detailing and pronounced cups at the heart-shaped neckline, layered under a large strip of transparent copper fabric that was tied to the side at her hip and draped to the ground like a dreamy skirt. She teamed the ethereal ensemble with glittery chocolate brown pointed-toe heels, silver diamond bracelets, and diamond necklaces.
