Mariah Carey Revealed One Way Her Tween Twins Are Just Like Her at Christmastime

Mariah Carey season is just around the corner, and this year, her twins are getting in on the fun! The Queen of Christmas revealed one way her 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon, are just like her during the holiday season, and it’s so cute!


“The twins love to dress up as much as I do during the holidays, and I love that they experiment with fashion,” Carey told InStyle in a recent interview to promote her new holiday collaboration with The Children’s Place. “The twins and I had the best time in our matching pajamas and coordinated holiday looks when we shot the campaign. We could truly feel the Christmas magic, and I know we all looked and felt amazing in the outfits.”

How sweet is that? It’s so cute how the pre-teens love dressing up with their mom during the holidays — she should definitely enjoy it while it lasts! It’s not even Halloween yet, but I’m already ready to buy Christmas PJs for my own family.


The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer also revealed her favorite holiday memory. “Each holiday season is special and unique to me, but my fondest memory would have to be Roc and Roe’s first Christmas,” she told the outlet. “To see them grow each year and embrace the spirit of the holiday season is the gift that keeps on giving.”

“Seeing the joy in their eyes on every Christmas morning is a memory I will never forget,” she added. Are you crying, too? Being a parent during the holiday season is so special, and Carey nailed it!


Carey shared a photo from her campaign on Instagram. In it, she’s wearing a stunning red dress that she designed while Moroccan and Monroe coordinate with her in matching red-and-green plaid (a button-down shirt for Roc and a dress for Roe). They are surrounded by white Christmas trees and look absolutely beautiful hugging their mama.


Family time is important for Carey and her kids, who recently welcomed some furry family members into their group. Last month, she announced on X, “Summer prolonged … even though I try, I can’t let go! Introducing #DemKittens, the new adopted family members: Nacho & Rocky Jr.”


Carey also shared super cute photos of her kids holding the striped orange cats. Hopefully they’ll get to join in on the holiday fun this year too!
