What’s better than Mariah Carey, the Queen of Christmas, in Christmas pajamas? Mariah Carey and her two children in matching Christmas pajamas, of course! The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer is the new face of The Children’s Place holiday campaign alongside her twins, Moroccan and Monroe. In new pictures, the family of three is seen in two different plaid pajama sets in different holiday scenes, and we’re obsessed.

Mariah shares a daughter, Monroe, and son, Moroccan with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. The actress affectionately calls the 12-year-olds “Dem Babies,” and said in an exclusive conversation with People that working with them on set at The Children’s Place was “really fun.” Keep reading for more information.

Mariah Carey and family star in The Children's Place holiday campaign

Mariah and her twins are the stars of the campaign titled An Iconic Holiday: Part 3. In the first set of promotional photos, the family is gathered around a kitchen island adorned with baking supplies. Monroe and Moroccan each hold decorated holiday cookies while Mariah stands between them, ready with different sugary toppings. Their pajamas consist of green and red plaid pants and a long sleeve baseball tee that says "We are Family" in red and green lettering. Though the twins' shirts are long, Mariah’s shirt is cropped, flashing her toned midsection.

The second set of photos captures the family in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree surrounded in red-wrapped presents. Mariah and Monroe are wearing red and green plaid pants while Moroccan grins in a matching plaid flannel. All three of them are wearing long sleeve green tee shirts with Santa hats on them, and the twins' shirts also read, "Santa's Helpers." Mariah's, on the other hand, reads, "Mama Claus!"

In a conversation with People, the mother-of-two talks about how much fun she had with The Children’s Place. "The Children's Place is a household name, and it truly dominates the children's apparel space, so I've always been a fan of theirs," she says.

She continued, explaining that matching pajamas are a tradition in her household: "My kids and I have a matching pajama set or two that we wear, and it's just fun and a cute way to celebrate the holidays together."

So, working with her kids to promote a brand-new set of matching pajamas really was a dream come true for the star. "We had a blast on set. They're really such troopers. To use my love of them in my work is so rewarding."

Mariah Carey designs 'The Dress' for The Children's Place

In addition to modeling the new pajamas, The Children's Place also asked Mariah to design a holiday gown. She created a simple, elegant A-line gown with a flowing, green plaid sash. "At first, I was like, 'What do they mean they want me to design this?'" Mariah said when asked about the opportunity.

"And then I just decided to do something really paired down but classic. I had this vision of a stunning red ball down with a ton of volume, and it was reminiscent of something I’d worn when I was first staring in the music business," she explained. Mariah rose to fame in the 1990s but has always been known for her passion for the Christmas season.

Fan reactions

Mariah's fans couldn’t get enough of the campaign look and took to her Instagram post of her with her kids in the matching pajamas to share the love. "Mother is mothering while mothering. Iconic," one fan wrote.

"Woww they're so grown up and adorable!" another posted, adding a heart-eyes emoji.

"Mariah's not a regular mom she's a cool mom!" added a third fan.

"What a beautiful photo!" another commented. "Gorgeous!"

The Children's Place added in a comment, "We are *officially* in the Christmas spirit!" That's exactly what we were thinking!
