The singer nearly brought us to tears.

Mariah Carey honored her late father, Alfred Roy Carey, with the sweetest gesture.

The singer took to her Instagram to wish her father, who passed away in 2002, a happy birthday and paid tribute to him by restoring his vintage sports car.

Carey posted a carousel of photos to the social media platform that showed off the completely restored red speedster.

The first photo showed the singer sitting inside the car as she looked up at the sky. Other snaps in the carousel showed her adorable 11-year-old twins, Morrocan and Monroe, as they sat inside the vehicle and even pretended to drive it.

"Happy Birthday to you my Father Alfred Roy Carey. The car you never got to finish is lovingly restored, complete with your spirit and my children.. Sorry I never told you, all I wanted to say🌻👐🏾❤️" she wrote in the caption.

Many celebrity friends and fans took to the comments to pay their respects to Carey's late father.

Kris Jenner left red heart emojis on the singer's post, while Paris Hilton also chimed in with a heart eye emoji.

"BEAUTIFUL!! I love that you finished his car too. He's forever looking over you all with love and pride! Sunflowers for Alfred Roy Carey FOREVER 🌻🌻🌻" one fan wrote, referencing Carey's song, "Sunflowers for Alfred Roy," which she released in 2002 after he passed away from cancer.

Another fan referenced the same song: "Happy heavenly birthday to the king who raised a queen. Sunflowers for Alfred Roy, lots of love to you Mariah."
