Maria Sole Ferragamo’s So-le Studio Hits Paris With Organic Jewels Via Le Bon Marché Pop-up

Maria Sole Ferragamo’s So-le Studio has taken its nature-inspired, organic-shaped and eco-minded jewels to Paris, unveiling a pop-up installation at the Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche department store.

Running through April 21, the pop-up space marks the first retail activation outside Italy for the brand. It was designed by the Ferragamo scion’s go-to architectural firm Fondamenta, helmed by Francesca Beatrice Gagliardi and Federico Rossi, who translated the organic feel of jewels into a distinctive display concept.

In sync with the blueprint introduced with the first and only flagship store the brand operates in Milan, inside the Portait Milano hospitality and retail complex, the Le Bon Marché pop-up repurposes the same combination of a modular wooden skeleton — here shaped as a display counter with slanted tabletops — wrapped in fabric. All materials employed were sourced from deadstock and are poised to be repurposed for future installations.

Ferragamo, the daughter of Leonardo Ferragamo, chairman of the family-owned hospitality business Lungarno Collection, introduced her jewelry brand in 2017, drawing from the family fashion business’ expertise in leather goods. Inspired by organic shapes of leaves, ferns and blossoms, So-le Studio’s cuffs, earrings and necklaces are crafted from deadstock leather scraps mimicking precious metals and even diamond pavé.
