Maria Is Curbing Her Mini-Bag Obsession With This Shopping Tote Bag

I've gone from mini bags to *medium* bags.

If you've been keeping up with my Editors' Picks or any other shopping story that features what the Fashionista editors are buying (or wishing for) at the moment, then you're probably aware of my slight obsession with mini bags. The least amount of things that I can carry on my person, the better. If Apple ever downsized the iPhone, I'd be ecstatic because that means I can purchase an even smaller bag to carry around all day.

But lately, I've found myself on the other side of the handbag-size spectrum, fawning over oversized tote bags and browsing for an everyday bag that could fit a few more, larger things, like my Bullet Journal (hell yeah I #bujo!), a Nalgene bottle and a laptop. Plus, if I ever need to run a last-minute errand, I'd prefer to forgo the shop's plastic bag and throw my newly purchased items in my purse. Would they fit in a baby bucket bag? Probably not.

That's why I have my eye on Telfar's medium shopping bag, which rapidly became an "It" item and turned designer Telfar Clemens's namesake into a cult brand and CFDA/Vogue fashion fund winner back in 2017. Originally, I favored the smaller version, but now that I'm a new woman with a penchant for roomy totes and shoulder bags, I can see myself using this bag for work, travel and everything in between. This, my friends, is what we call growth.
