Maria Bello Wore the Most Confusing Harem Pants Ever

M.C. Hammer pants are one of those things we all wish would have stayed in the ’90s, but actress Maria Bello decided the throwback silhouette needed a modern update — or at least that’s the only reason I can think of as to why she chose this pair of harem pants to the premiere of “Lights Out.”
The unique pants are from Greg Lauren’s (Ralph’s nephew) Spring 2016 collection, and Bello tweeted after the premiere, “I can’t get out of these pants. … scary.”

Bello sported a white spaghetti-strap tank top and strappy sandals, but the pièce de résistance in this look are the pants, which can best be described as a cross between denim jeans, silky PJ’s and sweatpants. The rear view is just as um, dynamic as the front:

It’s a curious sartorial choice. The true tragedy here though? A missed opportunity to roll up to the spot like this:
