Margot Robbie Gets a Jump on Fall Beauty at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Premiere in London

If well-placed washes of red have served as a beauty benchmark this summer, it seems that fall may be colored by a rosier interpretation of the warming approach. For evidence, look to Margot Robbie, who got a jump on the seasonal switch at the UK premiere of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood today in London.

Rather than swiping lids or lips with a brickish red, Robbie opted for an eye-level application of saturated pink that played off of her ethereal—and appropriately retro—burnt-orange Oscar de la Renta. The statement-making eye moment was a sister, if not a twin, of that worn for the film’s initial premiere in L.A. But while the first round saw apricot shadow climbing upward to the actress’s power brow, today’s take tilted slightly more romantic, the pressing of pink allowed only a slight diffusion outside of the lines. A harmonized lip and edging of plummy eyeliner rounded out the moment, all while inspiring onlookers to adjust the red-hots of summer to shades of a subtly softer nature.
