Last night, Margot Robbie attended the 2024 AACTA Awards in her home country, Australia, looking like a royal disco Barbie—but there wasn’t an ounce of pink in sight. Instead, she glittered from every angle in a breathtaking champagne gown.

It was a big night for Robbie, who was honored with the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ Trailblazer Award for her work in front of and behind the camera, and she wore the perfect celebratory dress for the occasion.

The piece was a remake of a silver corseted gown from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 1998 collection. The actor-producer’s iteration featured an off-the-shoulder construction, a plunging structured V-neck that jutted up and out at the sides, a fitted corset bodice, small folds of slouchy fabric under her bust and waist, and a sweeping, slightly transparent column skirt that covered her matching peep-toe slingbacks, and was completely covered in majestic metallic sequins that shimmered like stars in the night sky. The gown was the perfect complement to Robbie’s star power, which she let radiate in all of its glory by limiting her jewelry to just one diamond ring. For glam, Wolf of Wall Street actor wore glowy makeup complete with rosy blush, a subtle brown smoky eye, and a glossy mauve pink lip, and styled her golden-blonde tresses in soft curls with a middle part.

Robbie got onstage twice more Friday night, to accept the International Award for Best Lead Actress in Film and the International Award for Best Film, both for 2023 blockbuster Barbie. Her costar Ryan Gosling also got some love, taking home the International Award for Best Supporting Actor in Film.

This ensemble is just the latest in Robbie’s slew of gorgeous award show moments. Last month, she returned to her bubblegum pink roots while attending the Golden Globes in her pinkest look yet. Robbie channeled 1977 SuperStar Barbie doll in a reworked Giorgio Armani Privé gown from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The custom-made piece featured hot pink sequins, a halter neckline, and a matching tulle boa wrap draped around her shoulders.
