Margaritaville at Sea Is Introducing 3-night Weekend Getaways Next Year
The cruise line is expanding from 2 to 3-night cruises in 2024.

When Margaritaville at Sea launched last year, the company offered short and inexpensive 2-night getaways. Now, the cruise line is expanding with 3-night sailings to take advantage of a long weekend.
The new 3-night weekend trips will launch in August 2024 and be offered through December 2024, the cruise line shared with Travel + Leisure. The cruises will depart from Palm Beach on Fridays and return on Mondays, offering travelers a full Saturday at sea as well as a stop on Grand Bahama.
“This new three-night itinerary is our response to guests who’ve requested longer sailings so they have more time to enjoy our irresistible Margaritaville experience,” Christopher Ivy, the president and CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, said in a statement shared with T+L. “And our fun new Saturday at Sea is designed to help them make the most of their extra time.”
Unique to these sailings is the full day at sea during which the cruise line will introduce a whole new slate of programming, including a “Bottoms Up Party Brunch,” complete with live music, special menus, and drinks, and a “Tropic Like It’s Hot” island night with themed attire. The cruises will also include a new complimentary dinner menu in the Fins main dining room, a “Sail Yeah” deck party, pickleball competitions, spa specials, and casino promotions.
The late Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at Sea cruise line first launched in May 2022 with two-night itineraries to Grand Bahama. The cruise line features nautical-themed passenger cabins as well as multiple restaurants and bars like the JWB Prime Steakhouse and the 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar.
The cruise line offers travelers several unlimited pass options, like the “Ultimate Paradise Pass,” which allows travelers to go on unlimited cruises starting at just $999. This month, the company also launched a new “Heroes Pass” for U.S. military service members — both active duty and veterans — police, fire, EMS personnel, and teachers. That pass starts at less than $300.
