Maren Morris Rocks Edgy Cutout Dress as She Skips the CMAs

Maren Morris skipped out on the 2023 Country Music Awards, instead deciding to attend the SiriusXM Next Generation: Industry & Press Preview in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in a stunning edgy red dress.
The 33-year-old—who announced her split from husband Ryan Hurd early last month—rocked a red dress from The Attico with long sleeves made of crisscrossing fabric creating many stylish cutouts before tying at the front of the knee and hanging down. She accessorized with bold silver hoop earrings and unique snakeskin strappy heels, while her hair was slicked back in an updo.
Morris shared a look at her night out on Instagram, posting a bunch of pictures of the outfit and her glam team, as well as behind-the-scenes moments of her performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with Brittney Spencer and Mickey Guyton, captioning it, "Bitches unite tonight. ❤️🔥."
"try not to mother challenge: impossible," commented a fan, as more supported the star with notes like, "Definitely dressing for revenge 🔥🔥," "slay after slay," and "You look amazing, Maren! Loving the new music ❤️."

It seems like red was the color of the night, as Kelly Clarkson also showed up in an amazing bright red pantsuit to celebrate the announcement of her own radio channel. Other celebrities also in attendance at the SiriusXM event were Howard Stern, Conan O’Brien, Kevin Hart and more.
Morris is making a lot of big changes lately. Along with her divorce, she also announced that she would be stepping away from country music. In mid-September, Morris released new music in the form of the EP The Bridge, which featured two songs, "The Tree" and “Get The Hell Out Of Here.”
