Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's highly-anticipated Netflix docuseries dropped this week, and Maren Morris has some thoughts.

Maren Morris is sharing her two cents on Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle, who the country star believes doesn't deserve all of the hostility she faces from the public.

Following the premiere of the new Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, which debuted on the streaming platform Thursday, Dec. 8, Morris, 32, took to TikTok to share her unabashed opinions on the couple's tumultuous royal experience, especially Markle's role in all of it.

"I do have some questions," the "My Church" songstress said in her TikTok clip on Friday, Dec. 9. "This profound hatred and annoyance at Meghan Markle specifically—mostly coming from women, I have to say—it's unfathomable to me."

"People are saying, 'Oh, a woman should never take a man away from his family. That's all this is,'" Morris continued, adding, "Um, have you seen this family?"

The singer went on to mention more scandals throughout the history of the monarchy, including the short-lived reign of King Edward VIII, who voluntarily abdicated the throne in order to marry divorcée Wallis Simpson

"[He] left the family because they would not allow him to marry the woman he loved because she had been divorced," Morris pointed out, while also mentioning Princess Margaret, who was famously barred by her sister, Queen Elizabeth II, from marrying the love of her life because he was also divorced.

"When they didn't allow Princess Margaret to marry Peter Townsend, she did not leave the family, but I kind of wish she had," Morris added.

The "GIRL" vocalist—who also admitted to being a fan of The Crownsaid,"This all feels very pointed at one woman, as it mostly always has [been] in history."

The new docuseries, which aired its first three episodes on Thursday, follows the story of the couple's rocky road that eventually led to their decision to step down from their royal duties in 2020, as well as the tale of their personal romance story.

The next three episodes of Harry & Meghan will be released on Thursday, Dec. 15, available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
