Fans of Maren Morris, prepare yourselves for this epic fashion moment. The country singer recently took to the stage in New York City to sing a few big hits, and folks' breaths were taken away by the outfit she chose to wear for the performance.
In late July, the "Humble Quest" singer was front-and-center at the Rockefeller Plaza as part of the Today show's annual Summer Concert Series. Taking the idea of summertime colors to heart, Maren shocked everyone by walking out in an electric green blazer dress. She completed the look with several accessorizes, including a choker necklace and hoop earrings. What's more, a pair of simple heels and blunt bangs truly made her shine.
Stunned (in a good way!) by her outfit choice, producers of the hit daytime news program had to show off her ensemble on TikTok. "#MarenMorris is #serving and #sliving in this green outfit!! 💚," the official Hoda and Jenna social media account captioned the video on July 28.
The "Circles Around This Town" musician definitely knew what response her attire would elicit from fans, because she quickly posted pictures of the look on her own Instagram as well. As soon as fans noticed the pics, they flew to her comments section and shared their thoughts on her bold look.

Shortly after performing, Maren made her way to Today's fourth hour to discuss her approach to music with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. According to the Grammy winner, it's less about the style of music, but more about being grateful to write about an expansive range of emotions in her lyrics, even within her chosen genre.
"I definitely feel the most at home in country music, but even country music has been broken open so wide over the last ten years," she told the co-hosts. "It feels like it's not like one size fits all. It's like, do what makes you feel good, write the songs that make you feel something. Let someone else figure out what they'd like to classify it as. It's not really your problem."
