Marc Jacobs and his longtime partner Charly "Char" Defrancesco are officially engaged, after the fashion designer proposed in a Chipotle in New York City. Jacobs showed his lovably cheesy side in the prank-turned-proposal: he had a flash mob perform before he popped the question.

Both future grooms shared a video from the special moment on Instagram last night. In the clip, Jacobs and Defrancesco are casually dressed in windbreakers in the fast food chain when a group of people surprises them by dancing to "Kiss" by Prince. As soon as they finished, Jacobs got down in one knee (at this point everyone was screaming). Char nodded yes and they celebrated with an embrace and kiss.

"And this happened...'Charly Defrancesco will you marry me'? #flashmobatchipotle #moves," the designer captioned the video on Instagram. He also thanked Plural NYC, the studio that help organize the event, and gave a shoutout to his "ride or die" fiancé.

Defrancesco, who owns the candle company Lit, captioned his version of the video: "GET READY FOR THE ALL TIME GAG!!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen."

It turns out the proposal video wasn't the only tribute Jacobs shared yesterday for his longtime beau. He also a sweet photo of them together in honor of Defrancesco's birthday. The designer dedicated the post to "the love of my life!!!"

We can only imagine how stylish this future wedding will be. And we kind of hope it's catered by Chipotle. (Imagine all the chic burrito bowls...)
