Marc Anthony Is Being "Supportive" of Jennifer Lopez Amid Her Alex Rodriguez Breakup

Marc Anthony has Jennifer Lopez's back amid her recent breakup with Alex Rodriguez—with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that "Jennifer makes it a point to have cordial relationships, especially with Marc since he is the father of her children. Jennifer and Marc have a friendship and are supportive of each other whether it comes to parenting, personal matters, or their careers. They have each other's backs."

These two were married from 2004 to 2014 and have remained close. In fact, Marc just spent a ton of time gushing about his ex to InStyle, saying, "She's the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I've ever met. When we were together, it was quite the opposite for me. That has changed since. I learned so much from her. She's the original!"

Cuteeee. And btw, it looks like J.Lo and A-Rod are also hoping to remain close friends—at least according to this statement they gave to the Today show:

Sounds good, though an ~insider~ recently told E! News that A-Rod "has high hopes they will get back together. He's doing anything in his power to make J.Lo happy" so...TBD on if things are completely over for good!
