Map of city's two-mile public art trail revealed
A map of a new two-mile public art trail in Hereford has been made available online.
Herefordshire Council said the "easy" loop of the city centre, "takes about one hour to complete at a moderate pace".
The latest addition to the trail is a series of eight contemporary sculptures, which hang from disused shop signage brackets above retail outlets.
The sculptures complement eight colourful wall murals that help to tell the city's cultural story and celebrate its "rich identity, heritage and connection to nature", the council said.
The new sculpture trail draws inspiration from past English laws of the 17th and 18th Centuries that required shops to display visual trade representations.
A cloud palette, a giant sturgeon and a drum are among the sculptures featured.
A map of the trail can be downloaded online or picked up in printed form by residents or visitors at key transport hubs, outlets and sites across the city.
