So Many Stylish Stars Attended Chanel’s Annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner

A Chanel-curated celebration always includes a who’s-who roomful of stars.

On Monday night, the fashion house hosted its annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner at legendary New York City restaurant Balthazar, where famous faces including Tracee Ellis Ross, Sofia Coppola, Iman, Katie Holmes, and Harper’s Bazaar editor in chief Samira Nasr gathered to toast the select cohort of all-female artists who donated original works to be presented as prizes to the festival’s winning filmmakers this year. Curator Racquel Chevremont brought together an impactful group of artists that included Ana Benaroya, Beverly Fishman, Christie Neptune, Lisa Lebofsky, Natia Lemay, Patricia Encarnacion, Renee Cox, Sheree Hovsepian, Shinique Smith, and Wanda Raimundi-Ortiz.

The evening’s eclectic crowd reflected the exciting state of the creative industry. New York mainstays such as Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Jemima Kirke mingled over martinis, while newer industry faces like City on Fire’s Chase Sui Wonders, The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri, and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Lola Tung also made stylish appearances. Actresses Suki Waterhouse and Camila Morrone from Daisy Jones & The Six enjoyed a mini reunion at the event, as well. Guests showed off their spins on Chanel ensembles that perfectly embodied their individual personalities, with C-logo denim, tweed tube tops, and deliciously oversize suits all on display.

Chanel’s annual dinner exemplifies the brand’s ongoing support of cinema and the arts, and its commitment to a creative future.
