It’s time for one of the most hotly anticipated awards shows of the season: the 2018 Grammy Awards. Every year we see the top stars of the music industry step up to be recognized for their hard work. And with so many of our favorite singers and musicians getting ready to walk the Grammys red carpet, we couldn’t help but wonder: How many Grammys does Nicki Minaj have? After all, the rapper has received tons of accolades and honors during her career. Well, we did some investigating, and the numbers behind this answer are pretty surprising.

It may be hard to believe, but Nicki Minaj has never won a single Grammy award. Although she’s been nominated for over 400 different awards and titles since she hit the scene, the rapper has never walked home with a Grammy. That’s not to say she hasn’t been nominated. In fact, Nicki Minaj has been nominated for a Grammy 10 times since 2011. In 2012 she made history as the first female rapper to do a solo performance at the Grammys with her hit single “Roman Holiday.” But despite the numerous nominations and show-stopping performances, Nicki Minaj has yet to win the highly touted award.

In 2012 it looked like she might finally have some Grammys luck with her wildly successful album The Pinkprint. But Minaj ultimately lost out on the title of Best Rap Album to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly.

Unfortunately, Nicki Minaj isn’t up for any awards at the 2018 Grammys either.

Although her current nemesis Cardi B is. Additionally, Minaj isn’t listed as a performer. We hope we see her walking the red carpet in one of her signature killer looks, though.
