How Many Grammys Does Kendrick Lamar Have?

Kendrick Lamar has been a rap favorite for a while now, but is his influence reflected in his Grammys wins? We’d say so.

In the past five years, the 30-year-old "King Kunta" rapper has been nominated for a whopping 29 awards. He’s won seven thus far, claiming the award for Best Rap Performance (2014, 2015), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song (2014, 2015), Best Rap Album, and Best Music Video.

This year, he could potentially double his wins, as he’s nominated for another seven at the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday: Record of the Year (“Humble.”), Album of the Year, (Damn.) Best Rap Performance (“Humble.”), Best Rap/Sung Performance (“Loyalty.)”, Best Rap Song (“Humble.”), Best Rap Album (Damn.) and Best Music Video (“Humble.”).

We’re wishing the talented artist all the best at the 2018 Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 28. You can watch the ceremony live from N.Y.C. on CBS at 7:30 p.m. E.T.
