I know that 2019 may seem like a whole century ago due to the craziness that was the pandemic but in reality, it was just three years ago, and very memorable moments happened the entire year. 2019 was the last year we were free to do things such as going out with friends carefree, attending festivals and tours, and being in crowded spaces (I guess people are doing that now :/ ) without having to wear masks. For real historian nerds like myself, let’s see how many events we remember from 2019.

This performance must be the most viral gymnastics clip of all time! Ohashi killed it, scoring a perfect score with an R&B, Funkadelic-influenced floor routine at the NCAA Collegiate Challenge Match. She did things with her body in that video that I know would cause me to tear body parts I never heard of.

The year 2019 started off weird. In a matter of days, this post became the most liked post not only in Instagram history but in Social Media History. The post now has over 55 million likes as of today.
3. Ye's first Sunday Service. Date: January 6th, 2019
Kanye West always pushing the barriers of the way we listen to music in this generation. On the first Sunday of 2019, We see Ye had the first “Sunday Service” rehearsal. The peak of Sunday Service in 2019 came at Coachella where the artist had the first public Sunday Service in April that featured DMX leading a prayer.

The documentaries and uproar from the Fyre festival seem like it was another universe ago. It’s one of the rare times we see Netflix and Hulu produce their own documentary about the same thing so close to each other.

Jordyn Woods controlled her narrative and looks like she is the only one, not a fool in this situation after it seemed like the Kardashians would do their best to silence her in 2019 . This story was the early runner for juiciest story especially after Woods joined Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk . Fast Forward, Jordyn is in a beautiful relationship with Basketball Star, Karl Anthony-Towns, and well for Khloe and Tristan... ummmm, I'd rather not.

Apple TV+ went live at the beginning of November, but it was quickly placed on the backburner to fans' minds after Disney+ released its own streaming services with the anticipation of having all of our childhood favorite shows and movies all in one place.
