Peacock’s latest hit series Poker Face has quickly become a “watercooler” show, stirring up conversation online and IRL. The show’s first season spans 10 episodes, which means 10 hours of ASMR (read: Natasha Lyonne’s voice). From the mind of Rian Johnson—who wrote and directed Knives Out and the subsequent Glass OnionPoker Face follows a human lie detector fleeing cross-country who can’t help but find herself in the middle of mystery.

The first four episodes of the series debuted in late January, with subsequent weekly episode drops keeping viewers plugged in. Dubbed a “mystery of the week” series, each episode unwraps a new mini mystery, with Natasha’s Charlie Cale at the center of every one. The pilot opens with a suspicious murder, which kicks off the chain of events that push Charlie to hit the road, finding herself tracing homicides from New Mexico to Texas. The series also stars Benjamin Bratt, who plays a security guard for the casino Charlie is on the run from, and features such notable guest stars as Adrien Brody, Chloë Sevigny, and Dascha Polanco.

Poker Face has received widespread critical acclaim, coming after the release of Johnson’s latest film Glass Onion, starring Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Madelyn Cline, and others in a stellar ensemble cast. If casting is Johnson’s greatest gift, then Poker Face falls right in line. Natasha is true to form, impeccable and sharp as always.

If you haven’t started streaming Poker Face, there’s still time to catch up. The season finale will air on Peacock on March 9, with new episodes released weekly until then. Whether you come to the table for Johnson, for Natasha, or for a weekly drip of procedural crime mystery, Poker Face is as good as gold.
