It may be fully summer, but a fall fashion trend is taking shape.

Once upon a time Fashion Week was all about the collections, but times have definitely changed. Nowadays, what celebrities wear to sit front row is just as, if not more so, exciting as what's sent down the runways. (Don't @ us.) This week, A-listers, influencers, and fashion insiders gathered in Paris to view designers' Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023 collections. While stars like Cardi B, Florence Pugh, and Heidi Klum went viral for their jaw-dropping 'fits, we noticed another, more subtle trend taking over. Celebrities, it seems, have decided that dresses and boots are *the* look of the moment — yes, even in the dead of summer.

The dress and boots combos worn by the likes of Camilla Cabello and Zoe Saldana feature hemlines between midi and tea-length and boots that hit at the knee, not the ankle. It's a relatively subtle and conservative pairing, especially compared to the opulent glamour usually seen during Paris Fashion Week. Nevertheless, the A-list has spoken: Longer dresses with knee-high boots are front-row worthy, and these celebrity outfits from Paris Fashion Week prove it.

At the Fendi Haute Couture show, Cabello's sheer, lacy dress looked even more delicate juxtaposed with her black, knee-high boots.

Cabello stays winning. The unofficial champion of Couture Week looked elegant and vampy in a long-sleeved maxi dress and high-heeled boots.

French supermodel Cindy Bruna added some sparkle to her take on the trend. The sheer number of sequins on her knee-high boots and slinky knee-length off-the-shoulder dress could be overwhelming if not for the perfect oil-slick shade.

If even a fraction of fashion influencer Caroline Daur's 4.3M followers adopt this sheer maxi dress and knee-high boots look, it'll become a global phenomenon.
