Man's Cat Insists on Being Paid 'The Lettuce Tax' In Lieu of Cheese
What's with ALL of your cats loving lettuce?
While dog owners are serenading their pets with the amazing cheese tax song every time the cheese drawer opens in our homes, a cat owner by the name of @Matthewjharr had to compose his own ballad for his cat. Because his cat doesn't want a cheese tax. This furry feline is demanding the lettuce tax.

We love how he just gives up in the middle of the song because he doesn't know the words! @Kim noticed the same thing and said, "Hahahaha “I don’t know the words and I think I’m the only one.” @Sandy has a cat with a very similar taste-bud profile, and she comments, "My cat (her name is Basil) only eats green. I’d offer her a shrimp? No. Lettuce ? Yes. Cant keep plants in the house." @Marthalouise has her own lettuce-eating cat and replied, "My baby boy Brick will literally bite my ankles if I do not pay the lettuce tax and I thought I was the only one." @TikTok said, "I have to pay the Brussels sprout tax to my cat." @Manderselizabeth is in good company and typed, "I thought I was the only one with a cat obsessed with lettuce!"
Lettuce, cheese, I guess we all have to pay some sort of snack tax to our furry overlords. The rules are the rules and the facts are the facts!
