'Manifest' Star Josh Dallas Spills Major News About the Show

The #SaveManifest effort continues to be fruitful — and Josh Dallas is thrilled about it.

Last Thursday, the actor, who portrayed Ben Stone in the series, took to Twitter to give fans a shoutout for their overwhelming support and efforts to revive Manifest after NBC announced its decision this summer to cancel the three-season series. While retweeting a Deadline article that boasted Manifest's fourth straight week on top of Nielsen's U.S. streaming chart, Josh proudly wrote, "#Manifesters are a bunch of badasses!!! #manifest."

Of course, this got fans extremely excited knowing that their collective efforts to save Manifest are paying off. "We’re not stopping until we get our show back! #SaveManifest," one fan wrote. "Damn right!! This show deserves to still be playing. This show had me addicted from the start! #Manifesters are not playing around! #SaveManifest!!!!" another said.

The #SaveManifest movement on social media has continued to to pick up steam ever since NBC pulled the plug on the mystery plane drama and Netflix opted not to pick it up initially. Despite the major setback, fans banded together to try to show entertainment executives that Manifest deserves another season. The result? Manifest stayed in the top spot on Netflix's top 10 chart in the U.S. for 27 consecutive days. What's more, the popularity of the show on Netflix and the growing number of vocal fans on social media have reportedly convinced Netflix and NBC to reconsider their decisions.

Per a Deadline article at the end of July, NBC and Netflix have allegedly both resumed discussions with the show's studio Warner Bros. TV. Though no formal announcement that the show is coming back has been made, this is certainly an exciting development for those hoping for a season 4 renewal.

While we wait to see what the future of Manifest holds, we turn to show creator Jeff Rake for his calming words of wisdom during this uncertain time. "Just another manic, Manifest Monday," Jeff tweeted to #SaveManifest fans this week. "Hang in there, team. I believe in us."
