Mandy Moore’s ‘This Is Us’ Husband Milo Ventimiglia Reacts to Her Engagement

There’s so much love here. Mandy Moore recently got engaged to boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith, and among the first batch of people she alerted was her This Is Us family. Of course that included Moore’s TV husband Milo Ventimiglia, who stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, September 25, with Sterling K. Brown and the future bride herself.

Moore explained to Ellen DeGeneres that Goldsmith, by now, was well-acquainted with her NBC colleagues. “He’s met the whole cast. Everybody’s really close,” she said. “Everyone’s significant others and what not. We’re, like, one big family. As cheese-y and gross as that sounds.”

Ventimiglia echoed Moore’s sentiments. “Taylor is the kindest soul as is Mandy,” he reflected. “She’s like the most beautiful of human beings, so the two of them to come together. It’s right. We’re all very happy.”

Brown, who looked ecstatic for Moore, bookended the topic with an “Amen!”

Moore and Goldsmith got engaged right before the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards last Sunday. “She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can’t wait to hear about it,” Chris Sullivan told Entertainment Tonight. “She just sent a photo and just wanted us all to know that this just happened, and so then we went on a response spree for about a day and a half.”

Justin Hartley affirmed the cast’s adoration for Goldsmith and Moore. “It’s great. We are all thrilled,” Hartley told Extra. “What a great guy, a great couple, a great woman, a special time in their lives. I was happy to hear the amazing news. It put a smile on my face.”
