Mandy Moore Is in Full-on Mom Mode in New Pics Featuring Sons—and She Reveals Gus’s Unexpected Nickname

Mandy Moore, 39, may be known for her roles in hit shows and movies, but these days, she's fully embracing mom mode.

In honor of National Sons Day (September 28), the This Is Us star shared a slideshow dedicated to her two young boys: August “Gus” Harrison, 2, and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith, 11 months.

“A love that defies description and changes you on a cellular level,” Moore wrote. She then revealed her eldest son's unexpected nickname: “I’m the luckiest to be your mom, Goose and Ozzie. #nationalsonsday.”

The “Candy” singer uploaded a slideshow of pics featuring her two rambunctious rugrats. And while we couldn't get over these candid pics, we loved getting to see Moore’s mom skills in action.

In one photo, she's seen simultaneously pushing both of her boys on the swings, while another sees her holding baby Ozzie while Gus clings to her leg. The parenting prowess is only more evident in the rest of her carousel, where she’s pictured giving the boys a bath, snuggling with them on the couch and more.

Fellow celebs showed their love in the comments. For instance, Moore’s This Is Us co-star Alexandra Breckenridge wrote, “Oh man. [fire emoji]. Flashback central! Amazing mom work going on over there lady!” Meanwhile, Chelsea Handler commented two red heart emojis.

Moore shares her parenting duties with singer-songwriter Taylor Goldsmith, 38, who she has been married to since 2018.

The two clearly love their job as parents, given a post that Moore made back in May. “These dudes rule my heart,” the Racing Stripes star wrote in reference to their sons. “Each night, Taylor and I fall into bed after we’ve put them down; after we’ve straightened up from the chaos of dinner/bath and set up for the next morning and we chat about the day…. And just how utterly nonstop and gratifying it is. You never know what the day will bring and you roll with it to the best of your ability, right? All of that to say, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I mean, I do look forward to feeling moderately well rested sometime in the next decade? But [shrug emoji].”
