Man Roasted on TikTok for Extremely Ill-Advised Girlfriend Tattoo

Most professional tattoo artists will advise you against which designs you shouldn't get permanently inked on your body, which include offensive or distasteful tattoos, fad or trendy tattoos, and tattoos that predict the outcome of sports events. However, perhaps the biggest no-no is tattooing a significant other's name or likeness, because ... well, you never know what's going to happen.

But one ink fan managed to tick a couple of those boxes—you can figure out which—by getting a tattoo of his girlfriend's bite mark on his arm.

The ink session was both conducted and documented by Betty Zoo Tattoo, an all-female tattoo studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, which posted the video evidence to TikTok.

In the short clip, the girlfriend actually accompanied her beau to the studio and bit down on his arm in real-time. The artist then went over the bite mark with a red pen and traced over the outline with a tattoo gun in black ink. "POV: getting a tattoo of your girlfriend’s bite mark," the video's caption read.

The clip has since been viewed over 13 million times, but not necessarily for the reason the brand new tat's owner had probably hoped.

"Ringworm core," commented one user, noting that the tattoo resembling more of an apparent likeness to the highly contagious fungal skin infection rather than a bite mark. "What’s the stupidest tattoo you can think of getting?" deadpanned another.

And while it's unclear what the motivation behind the ill-advised tattoo was, another female commenter demonstrated exactly why this sort of romantic gesture is never a good idea. "My ex did this of my lips to apologize for cheating and I still dumped him right after," she wrote.

At the very least, if the relationship doesn't work out it looks like it would be an easy cover-up job. Either that, or he can just show off his unusual ringworm tattoo.
