If you're looking for a feel-good story that's full of hope, this video that @happydoggoniall shared is it. Niall rescues street dogs and helps get them healthy. In this video that he shared on Saturday, September 23rd, he is in Thailand and rescuing an extremely obese dog that he decided to name Cindy Crawford.

The video starts with some writing across the top saying that sometimes we all need a helping hand to get back on our feet, and in Cindy's case, he means it literally. She is so overweight that she can hardly walk, and all of her fur is falling out. It starts out as a sad story, but ends full of hope!

@Niall explains that Cindy lives between a 7-11 and some restaurants and is well known by those in the area. Both locals and tourists feed her, and she weighs twice as much as she should. She can barely walk. She also is covered in parasites, and all of her fur will be gone in a week or two. Niall's goal is to get her to a healthy weight and active, so she can enjoy life. At the end of his caption, he tells her, "You were down but not out".

The video quickly went viral, and has more than 10 million views, a million likes, and thousands of comments. People are rooting for Cindy to get healthy! One anonymous commenter got almost 30 thousand likes for his comment, "Thank you for saving Cindy Crawford. Hope she gets well soon!" Another commenter added, "When will people realize having a fat dog is just as abusive as a starving one".

I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be following along on Cindy's journey. We're all hoping for the best possible outcome with being fed properly and some light exercise. Niall posted a recent update, and you can find it on his page.
