Man and His Dog Give Woman Random 'Show' on Her Ring Doorbell Cam
I may be speaking for only myself, but I'm generally not a fan of people unexpectedly knocking on my front door. I'm not always in a position to come to the door (no matter how much my dog may want me to) and other times--I just don't want to! Plus, I just don't feel safe answering my door to an unknown person when I'm home alone.
That's why I invested in a front door camera, just like dog owner Michaela did before she was given the most random surprise. When she noticed that someone was outside her front door in late August, she was able to see exactly what was going on.
And she got quite a show! A random man and his dog did the most hilarious thing in front of her doorbell cam, and she had no idea what to think. The guy's actions were oddly charming, to say the least, and his excited dog couldn't have been a better sidekick. Naturally, her next step was to share the footage on her TikTok account, @michvsg!

LMAO! I have no idea what in the world is going on here, and it sounds like Michaela doesn't either. She doesn't know this energetic dog dad, but she seems to enjoy the bond he has with his furry friend.
Commenter @mrsjenik also loves "the way the dog immediately turned to run like 'I can't believe you actually did that!'" I know, right? It's so sweet how dogs are in tune with their owners and emotions, whether they're crying after a hard day or making a run for it after a purposeful nip slip. There's no doubt in my--or anyone's--mind that this curly-coated dog was down for the adventure. And why wouldn't they be? They have the same energy as their dad!
While most random doorbell encounters would leave me feeling either annoyed or concerned, this man and his happy dog would leave me wonderfully confused. I agree with @oakieholla_ who commented that this duo seems "odd, but [...] harmless." He could have been at the wrong house, considering that this is the funny type of greetings many friends partake in, or maybe he was completing a dare! The mystery may never be solved, but I'll always remember the ding-dong-ditcher and his four-legged sidekick.
