This year's piñata confections from The Ganachery down in Disney Springs are arguably their most creative of all time. Sure, we all squealed over their Minnie Witch piñata that exploded into a delicious mess of marshmallows and more, and, yes, we could not handle the brilliance of their Mickey s'mores, but these. These are magnificence. Or, er, Malefice-nce?

So, yeah! Let's start with Maleficent. Chocolatiers pour their exclusive blend of constantly churning dark chocolate into a spherical mold to create the basis for the piñata-to-be. Once hardened, they stuff that with vanilla bean marshmallows and all kinds of rice crisp pearls.

When that's all sufficiently stuffed, it's time to make the Maleficence (™) happen. Green-tinged modeling chocolate is put through a pasta roller and cut into a heart-shaped face. Once her face is welded to the now-complete chocolate ball, she gets tall, menacing, beautiful chocolate horns—you know. To make it extra Maleficent.

The idea is to smash through her hardened exterior to get to the sweet stuff inside (...not a metaphor for her character, of course. Just a fun lil exercise in whimsy!). Your reward is all of those aforementioned marshmallows and chocolates and also probably true love's kiss or something.

If that's all a little much for you, you also have the option of smashing into a Mummy Mickey piñata. He's a little more innocuous (but equally delicious), and he definitely won't haunt you with his big innocent mummy eyes as you destroy him. Definitely not.

Find it all at The Ganachery in Orlando's Disney Springs.
