Maisie Williams on "Game of Thrones" Ending and Where Arya Stark Is Today

I would definitely watch this spinoff.

The eighth final season of HBO’s beloved Game of Thrones caused some serious rifts among fans, whether over the fate of their favorite characters or the accidental Starbucks cup cameo that polarized the nation. When all is said and done, though, the true GoT-lovers have remained loyal, as has the show’s cast. During their final appearance at Comic-Con on Friday, July 19, a group of GoT cast members discussed their thoughts on the fates of their characters — and of course, Maisie Williams’s answer stole the show.

As E! News reports, the pink-haired actor pondered where she thinks her character, Arya Stark, ended up after all was said and done with this succinct response: “I’m sure she’s having a wonderful time. She’s like Dora the Explorer with her new bob.” Leave it to Maisie to make an old-school Nickelodeon reference when answering such a profound question. In all seriousness, though, she clearly admires Arya deeply and expects nothing but the best for her.

The group, which consisted of Maisie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Jacob Anderson, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, and Conleth Hill, also addressed the backlash over Game of Thrones’s final chapter. “If it comes to an end, it's gonna piss you off no matter what because it's the end. If you hated the ending, if you loved the ending, that’s great, just don’t call people names,” Coster-Waldau, who played Jaime Lannister, told the audience. “We’re very grateful for your fandom over the years,” added Hill (AKA Varys), “and I think this is the reality rather than a media-led hate campaign.”

Fans at Comic-Con (even the one who dressed up as the infamous Sbux cup) no doubt appreciated the cast’s candidness. All I’ll say is this: Maisie’s Dora-meets-Arya Stark reference might be the most ambitious crossover of all time, and I’m totally ready for that spinoff. HBO, you listening?
