Maine Coon Cat Is So Tall He Rivals a Human Child
Monster the Maine Coon cat is, well--one monster of a cat!
This big boy makes frequent appearances on his fur family's TikTok account, @buster_and_brothers, but one recent video was all about him. It seems like an innocent clip of Monster--or 'Monsta' begging for a snack from his dad, but if you look closer you can see how huge this feline really is.

Woah! We were expecting a massive cat based on Monster's breed, but he exceeded even our expectations. When he's standing on his hind legs, he's easily the size of a child!
Though we don't know this gray cat's exact measurements. Woofpurnay Vet lists the Maine Coon's average height (from the tops of their shoulders to the ground) as 25-41 cm or 9.8 to 16 inches. Their body length can reach up to 1 meter/39 inches long! Yep, that's a cat over 3 feet tall on its hind legs. Impressed yet?
"OMG, he is huge," wrote commenter @himynameischris. "Very beautiful." We couldn't agree more! This cat's fur is floofy and luxurious as can be, and we just want to boop that big ol' paw. No wonder his dad couldn't resist sharing a bite!
We got a giggle out of @jemjem_jem's observation: "Monsta looks like he has little pants on." OMFG--he totally does! This Maine Coon gets more and more beautiful the longer we look at him, but his confidence is our favorite thing about him. He has zero hesitation about grabbing a treat from his dad, and it really paid off in the end.
Of course, his huge size didn't hurt, either!
