Magic Johnson's model daughter is the latest celeb to chop off all her hair
Hair today, gone tomorrow. From Tamar Braxton to Kristen Stewart, many women have embraced the look of beautiful buzzcuts, short pixies, and all-around amazing cropped haircuts. The daughter of former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star Magic Johnson just joined in on the fun, and people are already in love with her new look.
Elisa Johnson has always worn fabulous hairstyles, ranging from long, blond locks to big, curly hairdos, but her latest look is like nothing we’ve seen her do before. The 23-year-old shared a portrait of herself on Instagram wearing a black off-the-shoulder top, neutral makeup, and her supershort curly hair.
In her caption, she explained, “Last night I contemplated whether or not I wanted to share my personal hair journey with Instagram but then I thought what the heck. SO inspired by all the powerful women who do not let HAIR define who they are…I love the woman I am and I encourage everyone to try and conquer their own personal insecurities, and rather than letting these insecurities define us, take the power away from them!!”

Johnson’s moving post has received more than 30,000 likes, and fans immediately wrote comments to express how inspired and in love with her new look they are. One person wrote, “I just chopped mine last week!! Girl it’s hard to adjust but our transition is about to be everything!! You look gorgeous!!”
Johnson is a professional model and looks good in just about any hairstyle. We have no doubt that she’s going to keep flawlessly flaunting her new ’do. The best part: She’s encouraging others to do the same. You go, girl!
