Madonna's Natural Hair Color Is the Star of Her Most Recent Throwback Pic
Younger pop fans might not remember a time when Madonna didn't have blonde hair. But in a throwback picture the singer posted to her Instagram on Wednesday, April 29, Madonna reminded all of us that she is, in fact, a natural brunette.
The picture shows the iconic entertainer in what seems like a backyard, basking in the sun, enjoying nature and her own company. "Teenage Quarantine.............. #baycity #backyard," the caption reads.
Madonna has been wearing her hair blonde for most of her illustrious career, which has spanned nearly four decades. She has rarely gone back to her natural brunette hair color, posting a few throwbacks here and there to show her hair transformation.
Staying home has gotten a lot of celebrities embracing their natural hair colors and textures. Actor Gabrielle Union posted a video of herself playing with her short curls, while reality TV star and founder of Kylie Cosmetics Kylie Jenner has been letting her roots grow in. All this extra time practicing social distancing has proven to be the perfect moment to contemplate beauty routines.
Madonna is one of our favorite beauty chameleons, so we always look forward to seeing how her style will evolve. And while she hasn't revealed any changes to her hair, makeup, or skin-care routine in quarantine, this picture proves she's definitely thinking about past hair looks.
