Madison Beer is the internet's it girl, and if you're just as obsessed with her as we are, you'll be happy to know she's back with a brand new album.

Following the release of her debut, Life Support, in 2021, Madison is returning with her highly-anticipated second album, titled Silence Between Songs. We've already got first single, 'Home to Another One', on repeat!

What's the first single from Madison Beer's new album?

On 18th August 2023, just under a month before her new album comes out, Madison released her new single - the first from Silence Between Songs - called 'Spinnin''. It launched on Radio 1 as their Hottest Record In The World, alongside a music video on YouTube.

Speaking about the release, Madison said “This song is a reflection of a time when everything seemed to stand still. I felt like every day was a cycle and I was stuck in such an anxious place, yet I could finally explore the thoughts and emotions in my head. I dreamed of a video that was cinematic and visually striking that brought those emotions to life, and I’m so proud of what we created.”

What is on the Madison Beer's new album's track list?

Good news! On 9th August, Madison revealed the track list for Silence Between Songs. In the cottage-core inspired video with a teaser for a new song playing, we see Madison in bed writing the track list down on a whiteboard.

The album features 14 songs that look to be all about love, relationships and breakups. Here's the full track list:

When did Madison Beer announce her new album?

Madison set the Internet on fire when she dropped the news about her new album on 31st May. "SILENCE BETWEEN SONGS, my sophomore album will be yours on September 15th," she wrote on Instagram.

"I can’t believe I’m finally saying this, tears in my eyes trying to articulate how I feel. The closer it gets, the more we’ll talk about it, but I am just so excited to release this record. I’m so excited for it to be yours. I’ll find more words soon…,, :’) for now… SEPTEMBER 15TH!!!!!!!"

What is Madison Beer's new album about?

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Madison revealed what inspired the songs on her sophomore album. “There are some serious songs on the album that are about really emotional and personal things to me,” she told the publication.

She shared that she's opening up about the relationships with her family members on the record, including her father. “It’s something I’ve never really spoken about because it’s hard and I don’t want to air him out," she said. "But it’s also something that I feel has shaped me as a person. I do love him for who he is, even if some of the things he does hurts me.”

One track on the record, titled Ryder, is named after her little brother. "There’s been a lot of emotions and experiences that we’ve shared over the last 12 years of me doing this with my life, which has then affected his life in turn,” she said. “Becoming older and being able to reflect on how my choices impacted him without me even knowing they were going to, because I was also just such a young kid.”

Also, she's been inspired by some of her favourite artists including Tame Impala, The Beatles and Lana Del Rey.
