Madelaine Petsch and Lili Reinhart Teamed Up For Social Distancing Crafts

Riverdale is one of many productions currently on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, but two of its stars are still finding ways to have fun off set. As our fave celebs turn to housebound activities ranging from daily talk shows to living room concerts, Madelaine Petsch and Lili Reinhart embraced their inner craft queens.

On Friday, Madelaine shared a brand new video to her YouTube channel titled "Quarantine Crafts: Tie-Dye Edition with Lili Reinhart." The star explained the intentions behind the video, writing in the YouTube description, "During this time where we all are staying at home Lili and I thought it would be fun to show you how we are passing the time! By making tiny little tie-dye outfits for our dogs. We wanted to make some thing that would put a smile on your face so I hope this can do that for you."

The ten minute clip certainly brings a good laugh, with the two admitting that after three days of no work, they are getting cabin fever. The jokes continue with the besties acknowledging that truly, neither know anything about tie-dye. Thankfully, they're willing to learn, and bring viewers along for the ride.

Almost immediately, Madelaine is forced to help Lili, and in the meantime, their dogs also make their presence known, barking and whining in the background. "This is obviously gonna be chaotic," Madelaine said. "I'm concerned that this is not gonna look like what we think it should look like."

It's only after applying the tie-dye that the pair realize something important — tie-dye requires waiting. "Unfortunately, tie-dye takes four to six hours to develop and then is has to sit and dry" Madelaine says. "So we will come back to you tomorrow with the results, hopefully on our beautiful models." After an overnight break, the pair do return, and their creations are doggone (puns, lol) cute.

Madelaine didn't reveal whether another joint video featuring Lili or any other Riverdale cast members might be in the future, but we're officially hoping that crafts become a permanent part of her channel. You can watch Madelaine and Lili's video here.
