Machine Gun Kelly Shows Off His New, Mysterious Throat Tattoo

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has more than 75 tattoos splashed across his body. And this week, he's added another to the collection...and it's not one for the faint of heart.
On Instagram, the rapper exposed the new tattoo on his throat—a straight, red line that looks a lot like a bloody cut. "bye bye neck," the 30-year-old captioned his cryptic Instagram post. And boy, does it look painful.
Back in August, we spoke to the rapper about the importance of his tats and why they fuel his workout routines. His back tattoo, an elaborate illustration inspired by the art of Salvador Dali, is routinely photographed by paparazzi. "The more I see pictures of my back, the more I want to add muscle to it,” he told Men's Health, “to change the landscape of how it looks over time.”
The rapper isn't looking to get too swole, though. "I have no desire to just be a muscly version of myself,” he continued. “It’s the moments onstage that will define my live-performance legacy.”
Last year, the rapper's girlfriend and actress Megan Fox even paid tribute to their romance by way of tattoo. On her collarbone, she has a tat that reads "el pistolero" (or "the gunman"). Fans of the rapper quickly pieced together its significance—"el pistolero" is an apparent nickname for Machine Gun Kelly.
