You know what they say: When one door to the Pizza Underground closes, another door opens. And even if you have no idea what we’re talking about, just know that it’s good news for Kevin McCallister fans because Entertainment Weekly reported that Macaulay Culkin is going to be in a new movie!

While the Home Alone star has continued to be involved in the entertainment world — through voiceover work, TV acting, appearances in music videos, and his aforementioned pizza-themed Velvet Underground parody cover band — this will mark Culkin’s first big movie in nearly a decade. So prepare yourself accordingly to see Culkin back on the big screen.

If you ignore that Culkin has appeared in two Adam Green-directed movies — 2011’s The Wrong Ferarri and 2016’s Adam Green’s Aladdin — his last role in a film was in 2007’s Sex and Breakfast. Before that, it was 2004’s Saved!, in which he played Mandy Moore’s brother.

Now, after ten years, he’s coming back for a film called Changeland — and it’s directed by and starring Seth Green.

Culkin has taken huge breaks in his career before. Riding high off of his success as a child actor, Culkin made The Pagemaster and Ri¢hie Ri¢h in 1994, and then didn’t act in a movie again until nearly a decade later in 2003’s Party Monster, which is where he met Green.

The guys have stayed in touch over the years …

And sometimes, they even hang out with Bob Saget together. (We know — so weirdly awesome.)

Variety reported that in Changeland, Green plays a “hesitant character undergoing a personal crisis as he meets up in Thailand with his self-assured best friend, portrayed by Breckin Meyer.” Culkin’s role was not specified yet, but Green said:

“It feels like a dream to be filming in Thailand with an incredible crew and some of my closest friends.”

Considering that Culkin’s cameos in The Jim Gaffigan show are over, since the series ended, and that Culkin announced in 2016 that Pizza Underground would only be doing one more album, he’s got time in his schedule to take on a film role. And we’re more than ready for his return.

We just can’t promise that the Home Alone references will ever stop.
