M.A.C. Expanded Its Studio Fix Fluid SPF Foundation Line
Beauty brands continue to diversify their makeup offerings, working to make the industry as inclusive as it always should have been. M.A.C. is the latest cosmetics company to announce an expanded foundation line, following a precedent set by brands including Beauty Bakerie, Fenty Beauty, Revlon, and Lush.
Beginning today, September 6, customers can shop an additional 18 new shades in M.A.C.'s Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation line, Glamour reported. Each foundation retails for $30, and the new additions make for a total of 60 foundation shades that shoppers can choose from.
With the selection of new foundation shades, M.A.C. also announced a few more major changes to products in its Studio Fix line. Their Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation has expanded to include 53 shades; their 24-hour Concealer now has 33 hues; and there are also a few new Conceal and Correct Palettes and new contour palettes.
According to Glamour, M.A.C. has also announced a new online tool that will make finding your perfect shade of product easier. Their online shade finder is super easy, and walks you through the process of understanding your skin tone and what products to use.
M.A.C. has continued to make waves in the beauty industry this year. Last week, the company started sharing photos on Instagram with untouched facial hair.
Plus, along with the new items in its Studio Fix collection, the company also announced the return of a brand new Patrick Starr collection, released a collection with Caroline Daur that tasted like cake, and helped us achieve the sparkle status of our dreams with an expansion of its glitter pigments.
The newly expanded line is available online and at select M.A.C. stores starting today.
