A few years ago, I bought a pair of underwear I loved so much, I’d run my washing machine superfluously, solely so I could wear them more frequently. If the thought of lace underwear incites itchiness, rest assured: Cosabellas’ defy the notion that lace-trim underwear is uncomfortable. In fact, the boyshorts are among the most comfortable pairs I own. The secret behind non-scratchy lace? A wide, large-format version, made from a polyamide and elastane blend.

Cosabella’s undies lay perfectly flat against my skin and conform to my curves as if they were created for my body. The gusset, primarily made of cotton, gives the underwear a breathable feel that’s comfortable even in sweaty seasons.

Comfort aside, the Never Say Never Boy Short is fantastically flattering despite its low-rise cut. Typically, such a descriptor causes me to recoil, yet these hip-skimming panties prove that there is, in fact, a place for low-rise styles in this world.
